No, you can play instantly as a Guest. A temporary guest token will automatically save your progress locally. Registering a free account allows you to sync your score on global leaderboards and protect your achievements across multiple devices.
When you join the Global Lobby or a Private Room, all connected players receive the exact same 6 letter tiles in real time. As players guess words, solved words update live across everyone's screens. The player with the highest round score wins the Round MVP title!
A Master Word is the full 6-letter word that uses all 6 letter tiles on your gameboard. Finding a Master Word earns 15 points and contributes to your Anagram Master achievement tier.
WordCramble uses the official ENABLE1 (Enhanced North American Benchmark Lexicon) dictionary containing over 178,000 verified English words. Proper nouns and words under 3 letters are excluded.
Click on the Lobby button, choose "Create Private Lobby", set a custom room name and optional password. Share your 6-character room code with your friends so they can join your private match!
Cosmetic Tile Themes (such as Neon, Gold, Retro, Midnight Dark, Lava, Ocean) and custom borders can be unlocked in the Shop using Diamonds earned through gameplay, achievements, daily streaks, or promo codes.
